Fromm from Albuquerque NM. Tim's wife Anita was 13th overall in the
50 Mile race. Anita has run the MS 50 before, but this was Tim's first try.

Race official Taylor Duffy presents the 50 Mile First Place trophy to John Brower, from Ridgeland Mississippi. John was a repeat winner, winning for the second year in a row. He finished 20 minutes ahead of second place John Cobbs, but due to much warmer temperatures, 20 minutes slower than 2008.

Richard Cozart, 79, from Panama City, FL, finishes his 10th MS50.
He was presented with a 10 Year Award at the pre-race dinner.
